Band saw blade in coils. Can be supplied in form of 100 meters length or longer.

Gang Saws

HS steel strip for the manufacture of gang saws is Characterized by :

● Mechanical properties so suited that the risk of cracks in connection with swaging is minimized

● Good flatness

Steel grade

SUBN-15

C= 0.75%; Si= 0.25%; Mn=0.35%;Ni=2.0%

Foms of supply

Hardened and tempered steel strip either in fabrication coils with an inner diameter of 900mm(2.95 ft) and a weight of 500 kg (1100 lbs) or as straight lengths cut to specification.

Finishes

Surfaces:bright polished , super blue

Edges:sheared ,deburred or square smooth. Strips in widths below 170mm (6.69 inch) only with sheared deburred edges ( see also page 5)

Flatness:max. unflatness across the width 0.1%

Mechanical properties

Tensile strength:1350±80 N/mm2 for saws with swaged teeth

1500土80N/mm2 for saws with set teeth

Hardness:44-48 Rockwell C

Widths:	100-250mm (3.94-9.84 inch)
Thickness:	1.4-3.5mm(0.055-0.138 inch )
Standard sizes:	175×2.0mm (6.9×0.08 inch)	175×2.4mm (6.9×0.09 inch)	175×2.6mm (6.9×0.10 inch)
